How does my family claim when I die?
Claiming is simple and straightforward. Our staff will deal with your family with kindness and sympathy and do everything to make sure the claim goes smoothly. We aim to pay out within three working days – 100% of all claims in 2017 were successful.

Can I reduce my payments?
If you’re feeling the pinch you can reduce payments. Just give our office a quick call or send us an email and we'll explain your options, which may include surrendering part of your policy for a cash payment, or reducing the sum assured with no further payment required. Some other companies won’t let you do this, so you end up losing all the money you’ve paid in.

Can I cash in my policy?
After two years you can cash in your policy at any time. However, you’ll get considerably less than you’ve paid in, especially in the early years.

Can I cancel my policy?
You can cancel your policy at any time. If you cancel within 30 days of starting your cover we’ll refund any payments you’ve made. If you cancel after that but within two years, you won’t get anything back.

How long do I pay for?
With a Funeral Plan, you pay until you pass away, unless you decide to cash the policy in or get a free paid-up policy. With a Savings Policy, you continue to pay until the end of the agreed term. It’s worth remembering that depending on how long you live, you could pay more into a Funeral Plan than the money paid out when you die.
